vALLEY COUNTY'S 1ST ANNUAL RECOVERY RALLY

In our community, mental health and substance use disorders affect many people. That is why The ROC, along with their supportive community partners, are hosting Valley County's 1st Annual Recovery Rally.  This community event is intended to increase awareness and understanding of mental health and substance use disorders and hopes to promote the message that behavioral health is essential to health, prevention works, treatment is effective, and people do recover.

At the Recovery Rally you will find friendship, fun, food, music, guest speakers, and a family friendly environment.

Help us create a community of support,

love and acceptance for everyone!

He started working with Peer Wellness as a volunteer 5 years ago, upon his release from prison here in Idaho.

Mark has a passion for helping people and sharing his "stories" of inspiration through his life experiences. The Day One program was a vision Mark had while incarcerated and since being released, he has worked diligently to develop a program that promotes a healthy foundation for returning citizens as he picks them up at the prison gate on their "Day One" back in the community. He works closely with the Idaho Department of Corrections to improve communication between Returning Citizens and supervision by promoting his belief in the importance of a hug and a handshake.
